Due to heavy rains in Vaishno Devi: Himkoti area and the battery car route closed

Jammu, July 6:

Due to heavy rain in the late evening, stones fell from the mountains in Himkoti area and the battery car route to Vaishno Devi was closed at night.

Due to this, the devotees are coming and going through the traditional route. On the other hand, the Kishtwar-Gulabgarh route could not be opened even after six days.

The administration also engaged the company engaged in the Kiru project for help, but the effort failed. Now the responsibility rests on 118 RCC, but RCC too is yet to make any concrete plan.

The Officer Commanding of 118 RCC said that it may take some more time, but he did not say how much time it would take. A lot of debris has fallen from the mountain.

With the onset of monsoon in Jammu, the maximum temperature here on Friday reached the same level as Srinagar. The maximum temperature of Jammu was 34.3 and Srinagar’s temperature was 34.2 degrees. The people of Kashmir, suffering from the scorching heat, continued to struggle with the dry weather on Friday as well.
