Dogra youth celebrated 74 independence day, Demanded Goverment should restore statehood for J&K

Jammu Aug 15: Group of Dogra youth celebrated the 74th Independence Day in Jammu with the unfurling of the national flag and recalling of the struggle for freedom. Group of Dogra youth unfurls the Tricolour flag at Bhagwati Nagar under the leadership of Bhanu Partap Singh Goria (Youth Leader) & Mandlik Nagar Toph under the supervision of Arun Mehra (Youth Leader) on the occasion of 74th Independence Day in Jammu.
Bhanu Partap Singh Goria said, “On the occasion of Independence Day, we celebrate the martyrdom of our heroes. We paid our respects to the heroes who laid down their lives agitating for the indeoendence for India.
Bhanu Partap underlined the significance of 1947 by saying, “Independence is invaluable. It is the duty of every citizen to protect it.”
Addressing the gathering at Mandlik Nagar, Arun Mehra said that we pay homage to those who sacrificed their lives for this hard-earned freedom, let us renew our pledge to serve the nation with greater sincerity, devotion and truth.
He said govt. should announce statehood for J&K on Independence day.
On the occassion, Partap Singh Jamwal (Poltical Activists) said that The tricolour reminds everyone of the sacrifices and struggles of our matryes while leading the country to freedom and then to maintain the unity and integrity of the country.
Partap appealed to the people of J&K We should come together and connect individuals on a campaign of Statehood for J&K to end these UT status.
