Last Wednesday, Director General of Border Security Force and IPS officer Daljit Singh Chaudhary arrived in Jammu and Kashmir on a two-day visit. Here today he held a review meeting with the officials. On reaching Jammu, he was also welcomed by IG DK Bora and senior officials of Jammu Frontier.

DG BSF visited the BOPs and took stock of the situation in Samba-Kathua Sector and Sunderbani Sector. He interacted with BSF Sector Commanders and Battalion Commanders on border management aspects.
The DG addressed the Sainik Sammelan at the Frontier Headquarters and praised the soldiers for their dedication to border duties. They have been instructed to maintain effective border domination to prevent anti-national activities.
