Doda, April 5:
District Development Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of key officials of the line departments including Officials/representatives of executing agencies here in the mini meeting hall of DC office complex to review the physical and financial achievements under Area Development Plan and UT Capex during foregone financial year.
During the meeting, the DDC sought details from the concerned executing agencies regarding the total number of works tendered, allotted, completed, expenditure incurred, funds saved due to tendering process , besides reviewing the plan proposals for the current financial year.
The DDC directed all the line departments as well as executing agencies to submit the exact figures with regard to the status of works and expenditure incurred including savings and funds utilisation so that in the next financial year the discrepancies shall be eliminated at the elementary stage.
The DDC also directed the concerned to reflect only those works in the plan which shall be completed in the current financial year, besides asked the education department to project only those works in the plan which are the top priority and requires immediate funds for proper functioning of the institution.
Moreover DDC directed the DEPO to submit the justification with regard to the funds which have been shown as lapsed under MDM sector by tomorrow. He further asked PHE to submit the complete details of works tendered, allotted, completed and not taken up within two days so that real assessment of the loopholes shall be worked out to avoid the future impediments during the execution of the plan.
The DDC also directed all the line departments to submit their plan proposals including the plan provision for SOS works so that they shall be discussed within the council, besides asking them to start the estimation and submit the same within next ten days so that the tendering shall be taken up timely.
The DDC asked the ACDÂ Â to share the progress of estimation on a daily basis, besides also asked to submit the information JE wise so that the low performing employee shall be taken to the task.
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, ADC Doda, DFO Bhaderwah, CMO Doda, DYSSO Doda, DEPO Doda, Ex En PHE, Ex En PMGSY Doda, Ex En Irrigation and Flood Control Doda, EO MC Bhaderwah, besides other concerned officials of various line departments were also present.
