On the second day of 3-days Multimedia Exhibition on ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ mounted at Kehli Ground, Samba by Regional Outreach Bureau, J&K Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Government of India. The Exhibition visited by Sh. Keshav Dutt Sharma, Chairman District Development Council, Samba in the presence of Staff members of Lord Krrishana High School and officials of ROB Jammu.
The Multimedia Exhibition by ROB J&K is being organised at Samba as a part of celebrations of 75 Years of India’s Independence. The aim of organizing this 3- day exhibition is to transfer the stories, events , highlights and struggle of unsung heroes of independence struggle to the present generation especially youth and children.
 Sh. Keshav Dutt Shrama, Chairman DDC, Samba in his address said that the present generation after seven decades of Freedom does not know about the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is an initiative of Government of India to transfer the dreams, hopes and expectations among common masses so that they may know the struggle of freedom fighters and boost their enthusiasm for building a new self-reliant (Atamnirbhar) India free of economic and social inequality.
 Sh. Vijay Mattoo, Field Publicity Officer, Kathua in his address informed about working and organizations of Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Government of India. He said that this exhibition by ROB, Jammu is an effort to make the youth of J&K especially Samba aware about the initiatives , aims and objectives of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
He said that various exhibits of this multimedia exhibition are designed to enrich the visitors with valourous Independence struggle, contribution of freedom fighters of India and J&K, significant events of Freedom struggle, About present day achievements and policies of Government of India through visuals, interactive panels and live cultural programmes.
The Multi-media exhibition includes displays of rare photographs of, film screening, interactuve information kiosks, selfie corners, quiz and audio-visual consoleson Indian freedom struggle. A theme based cultural programme was presented by Rattan Lal shugal & Team, an empaneled troupe of ROB Jammu. The Exhibition will remain open (Free Entry) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm w.e.f 20th March to 22nd March 2022. (PIB)
