Jammu, December 16:
Commissioner Railway Safety (CRS) Dinesh Chand Deswal inspected the railway track from Reasi railway station to Banihal on Monday. CRS reached the railway station at Gram in Reasi by road from Katra. From where he boarded the railway engine and left for Banihal. After returning from Banihal, he reached Sangaldan. Then reached Kodi in the evening.
On Tuesday, CRS will go to Katra via trolley from Kodi via Reasi station. He will inspect the cable bridge built on Anji Khad. After the tweet of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, there is full hope of starting rail service to Kashmir in January next year. It is said that in the first week of January, CRS will again come to inspect the rail link project between Katra-Banihal.
