Jammu, February 18:
A CRPF jawan committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Udhampur district.
Officials informed that the incident took place near Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Tikri area. They said that the jawan was posted in a road opening party. The deceased jawan has been identified as Praveen Patil, a resident of Maharashtra. Officials said that the reason behind the suicide could not be ascertained immediately, but the police have started investigation in this regard.
