Jammu, September 2:
Miscreants and criminals from outside states have increased the graph of crime in J&K. Criminals from Punjab and some other states are directly involved in most of the big incidents. Especially the criminals from the neighboring state of Punjab are spoiling the atmosphere here in Jammu. These criminals are involved in murders, human trafficking, drug trafficking, arms smuggling.
Sources said, “in the last two years, every big crime that has happened in Jammu has been blamed by the criminals of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The recent incident is of a taxi driver from Jammu. Taxi driver Mangal Singh was kidnapped and brutally murdered by the criminals of Haryana. Apart from this, smugglers from Punjab were involved in the heroin case worth Rs 33 crore in Jammu last month.”
Sources further told that the police department is studying this and installed interstate checkpoints A list of interstate drug smugglers and criminals is being prepared. Action will be taken under this. The criminal may be from any place. Action will be taken against him and it will be strict.
