Today Corporator Sharda Kumari helped a youth named Sushil Kumar resident of bahu fort near press morh area of ward no. 47, who had met with an accident, by providing him, his golden card under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Ayushman Yojna(PM-JAY) on priority, so that the individual can get himself treated without caring much about the expenses of the treatment.
After handing over the golden card to the youth in need, Corporator Smt. Sharda Kumari said that on hearing the news that one youth of ward 47 had met with an accident, she went to pay him a visit and on asking she came to know that the youth was unable to bear the expenses of his treatment and also had not made PMJAY golden card. So after taking note of all this and for the welfare of the youth, Corporator Ward 47 herself took the initiative and got the PMJAY Golden Card of the youth prepared for the PMJAY golden card camp which was ongoing in ward 47. After getting the Golden card prepared, She handed over the golden card to the youth admitted in the hospital so that he can get himself treated without caring about the cost of the treatment.
As per press statement issued to mercury times, Corporator Sharda Kumari further thanked Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi Ji for providing so many schemes funded by the centre for the welfare of the public and encouraged the general public to make use of all the schemes which have been provided by our Hon’ble Prime Minister for their welfare. At the end Corporator appealed the locals not to wander outside needlessly and follow the practice of social distancing and wear masks while in public places as the COVID-19 cases are on the rise again. The Youth in need and his family thanked the Hon’ble Corporator Smt. Sharda Kumari for providing them their PMJAY golden card within such a short time. Now they can get the treatment completed without worrying about the expenses of the treatment.
