Former Minister and spokesperson BJP Priya Sethi today while holding a pro CAA rally at Nowshera-Rajoura said that CAA has nothing to do with Indian citizens, irrespective of their religions but congress is ones again trying to divide the country like it did in 1947.
She said that The Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 (CAA) aims to grant citizenship to six non-Muslim communities from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, who are victims of religious persecution in these Islamic nations.Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis and Christians, who fled these nations and entered India until December 31, 2014. They will not be treated as illegal immigrants in future.
Priya lambasts on Congress and said that Congrees the grand old party has failed before Modis development and they have nothing to explain what they did in 70 years for country that is why they are misleading minorities whome they only treat as vote bank.
She asked that isn’t Congress dividing India on the basis of communalism? Isn’t congress responsible for the for the destruction of the undivided India by accepting the partition of the country
Priya Sethi who is prabhari of J &K Mahila Morcha too said that some parties particulary Congress with vested political interest are trying to damage national unity and integrity of the Country.
She added that Such people who are trying divide country are threat to the national security of India and must be dealt with strong hands.
Priya added that this act gives the citizenship and India has always being helpful in this ,we have the example of popular Muslim singer Adnan Sami, who was given citizenship in India. Few days ago, a Pakistani Muslim women got Indian Citizenship in Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir.
As per the government statistics, in six years, about 2,830 Pakistani nationals were given Indian Citizenship.
While speaking at pro CAA rally at Nowshera she was accompanied by BJP Prabhari CAA Sunderbani Omi Khajuria ,BJP Distt President Capt Balkrishan Sharma,Neena Sharma ,Nariender Mangoee,Vishal Gupta,Santosh Bhasin,Sanjeev Dutta and other BJP leaders of the area.
She explained that CAA is not against any Indian Citizen and said the act says that the fear of religious persecution among those who do not practise the State religion in these three Islamic countries is enough to classify as eligible to Indian citizenship.
The Act offers Indian citizenship to the Hindu, Sikh, Buddhists, Jain, Christians and Parsi migrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, who entered the country before December 31, 2014.
She urged people of the country to read CAA first before coming to any conclusion and don’t get mislead by the opposition parties.
She directly said that Congress is spreading fear in citizens by linking CAA with NRC which has not come yet only for their vote bank and they have got the opportunity to stand against the great leader of India Modi.
Congress and other opposition parties are misleading people and inciting muslim community for the violence for their political gains, She added.
Former Minister of J& K said that the Opposition is indulging in misinformation and falsehood campaigns over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) to mislead people.
Omi Khajuria while speaking said that BJP is holding Jan Sampark Abhiyan on CAA from Jan 1st to clear misgiving on this vital subject among the countrymen which is going on successful these days in all parts of the country and appealed people not to get mislead by party like Congress.
