Jammu, February 4:
Near Jogi Gate in the city, a car driver crushed an innocent one and a half year old child.
The child’s parents, who are originally from Uttar Pradesh, live near Jogi Gate. They work by setting up a hawker’s stall. They had set up a hawker’s stall on Monday as well. One and a half year old innocent Mohammad Faiz was playing. Just then a car driver backed his car and he got hit by it and died. After this the driver fled from there. The child’s parents say that people often park their vehicles near Jogi Gate and go away. They come to take the vehicle after several months. The child’s parents have identified the car driver and demanded strict action.
Local people also protested. Local people of Jogi Gate also expressed anger over the death of the child. They said that people park their vehicles outside Jogi Gate. Unknown people sit in vehicles till late at night and abuse. Vehicles are parked illegally, which should be removed.
