Captain Hansja from Jammu, who created history by winning the Silver Cheetah Trophy, will lead the squadron in the Republic Day parade.

Captain Hansja Sharma, the country’s first Rudra helicopter pilot, is bringing laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by leading the 251 Army Aviation Squadron in the Republic Day parade.

The daughter of Jammu, who created history by winning the Silver Cheetah Trophy at the Combat Aviation Training School, Nashik, is now achieving another major milestone by leading her squadron in the Republic Day parade. During the Republic Day parade rehearsal, Captain Hansja Sharma demonstrated the firepower of the Aviation Corps by leading the squadron with a Helina guided missile mounted on her jeep.

The Helina guided missile can be launched from the Rudra helicopter to engage enemy targets. A video of Hansja Sharma leading her squadron on parade went viral on Tuesday.

Mother Rashim Sharma says that it is God’s grace that her daughter is achieving great things. She says that she is very proud that she is leading the Republic Day parade. Saluting the army and soldiers protecting the country, she said, “I am proud of my daughter. She earned the uniform through great hard work.”
