Jammu, October 31:
The Batwal Youth Development Committee Jammu held a brief function at Trikuta Nagar here today which co-headed by BJP Office Secretary Hans Raj Loria and Havildar Des Raj Kaith and attended by large number of community youths.
In a statement issued to mercury times, speaking on the occasion, R. L. Kaith said. October 31 is dedicated to observing the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who was the first Home Minister of our country and who played a vital role in forming states by bringing the princely states together under the Union of India. Therefore, he is denoted as the ‘Iron Man of India.
Kaith further said, The reason behind the celebration of this day is to make people aware of the ideas of staying together and uplifting society.
In the end, all present unanimously resolved to work for the unity and integrity of the nation with dedication.
