Rajouri, March 17:
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) achieved great success on Tuesday. The ACB team caught an inspector of the Power Development Department (PDD) red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹30,000 in Rajouri district.
The ACB had received a complaint, alleging that the concerned officer was illegally demanding money from the complainant for performing his official work.
After investigating the complaint, the ACB laid a trap. They caught the accused on the spot while taking a bribe.
ACB officials said that a case has been registered against the accused.
Such trap action is being continuously taken by the ACB, so that corruption spread in government departments can be stopped.
