Jammu, March 18:
A woman entered the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi temple building with a pistol on the night of 14-15 March 2025. She has been identified as Jyoti Gupta, who is employed with the Delhi Police. The license of the weapon had expired.
An FIR has been lodged at the police station building in Katra, a case has been registered under the Arms Act.
Later Reasi SSP Parminder Singh clarified that the arrested woman does not work in Delhi Police.
