Jammu, August 6:
BJP Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra in the presence of BJP senior leaders Ex-Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta, Organization General Secretary Ashok Kaul, Party General Secretary Dr. Davinder Manyal, District President Vinay Gupta and other dignitaries, celebrated the completion of 2nd Anniversary of abrogation of Article 370 & 35-A in J&K at Dogra Chowk.
In a statement issued to mercury times, Ashok Kaul, appreciated the endeavour of Mahila Morcha and said that all Mahila Morcha celebrated this day as Diwali by lighting Diya and candles at State Level, District Level, Mandal Level and Booth Level. He said that this day has marked the beginning of new dawn of democracy in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta highlighted, how DDC election elections held for the first time in J&K was not only a historic decision which has strengthened the grassroot democracy in the UT of J&K but also attracted participation from women for the development of nation.
Dr. Manyal appreciated the development that has taken place after abolition of Article 370 and also said that this day will be written In golden words In the history of J&K.
BJP Mahila Morcha President Smt. Sanjita Dogra concluded the function with a vote of thanks and with a stronger commitment from the members of BJP Mahila Morcha that they will keep playing a significant and leadership roles in the Country’s growth and development, in the years to come.
She thanked our honorable PM Narendra Modi and all senior leaders, for empowering women with new Domicile laws which gave equal property rights to women and their spouse and also appreciated the decisions of removing Triple Talak, abrogation of Article 370 & 35-A in J&K. She also highlighted the role of participation of women in every field and shared how they are equal partners in the development of the country.
