Big relief for Rakshanda Rashid, mother of two children who was sent to Pakistan after Pahalgam Attack, got permission to enter India

Jammu, August 1:

Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has given a big relief to Rakshanda Rashid, The mother of two children who was sent from India to Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack. Chief Justice Arun Palli and Justice Rajnesh Oswal have allowed Rakshanda to return to India.

Rakshanda Rashid came to India in 1990 on a visitor visa. Since then she was living in India on a long-term visa which was renewed annually. She got married in Jammu and has two children.

After the Pahalgam terrorist incident in April 2025, the Indian government cancelled several valid visas, including Rashid’s. She was issued a notice to leave India and was deported to Pakistan on April 29, 2025.
