Bharatiya Janata Party Kashmir Displaced District held its District Working Committee Meeting under the Presidentship of Sh Chand Jee Bhat District President, today at Harjee Lal Jad Sabhagaar, Asha Bhavan Roop Nagar Jammu. Sh.Rajinder Sharma ,Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The working committee meeting was also graced by the presence of Sh Ajey Bharti (Ex MLC & District Prabari) and Sh Hira Lal Bhat ( Se Prabari)
In a statement issued to mercury times, the working Committee Meeting began by paying homage to Martyres & other departed souls, by observing two minutes silence in their memory , followed by lighting of the customary lamp by the Chief Guest Sh Rajinder Sharma and the recitation of Rashtra baghti Geet by Ms Reeta Dhar. The delegates participating in the meeting were welcomed by Sh. Bhushan Lal Raina (Mandal President ,Durga Mandal) and he thanked the BJP Kashmir Displaced District leadership for giving the chance to Durga Mandal BJP Karikartas to host the District Working Committee Meeting in their Mandal.On this occasion Sh.Chand Jee Bhat, District President BJP Kashmir Displaced District ,while addressing the Working Committee participants said that the party under the leadership of World popular Leader ,the Great Prime Minister of India Sh.Narender Modi JI is leading the nation successfully to the seat of Vishwa Guru and took a dig on Sh.Rahul Gandhi who during his Bharat Todo Yatra said that he has retuned to his home in Kashmir and shed Crocodile tears for Kashmiri Pandits . Mr.Chand Jee questioned the deeds of Congress Party and held it responsible for the genocide of Kashmiri hindus in 1989 when it was in colliation govt.with National Conference and when Prominent Kashmiri Hindus Like Shaeed Tika Taploo, Justice Neelkant Ganjoo , Lasa Koul ,DG Door Darshan, Sheed Prem Nath Bhat,Sr.Advocate & prominent Kashmiri Pandit Leader and H.L Khera GM ,HMT were murdered brutally by the terrorists to cause ethenic cleansing of hindus in Kashmir. Mr.Rahul Gandhi was then maintaining Criminal silence when the perpetrators of genocide of hindus in Kashmir were being felicitated by the then Prime Minister Sh.Manmohan Singh in PMO. He extorted the karikaratas to dedicate themselves to Seva of Samaj and strengthen the party at gross root level.
Anil Dhar (Vice President) read out the resolution and presented it for the adoption. Sh. Hira Lal Bhat ( Seh Prabari KDD) seconded the resolution and asked the delegates to discuss, deliberate and understand every issue of the resolution and adopt the resolution and after returning back to your Karishetra spread the contents of the resolution among the masses. After the deleberations ,the resolution was adopted unanimously.
In the resolution it was demanded one place settlement of Kashmiri displaced Hindus at one place in Kashmir
2 Reservation of one Rajya Saba and one Lok Sabah seat for Displaced Kashmiri Hindus in Parliament
3. Reservation of seats in local body institutions 4. Establishment of Central University in the name of Mata Sharda in Kashmir.
5. Enhancement of cash relief to the eligible displaced Kashmiri pandit relief holders from 13000 to 25000 per month.
6 Enactment of temple and shrines bill for preservance and protection of Hindu shrines and temples in Kashmir
7 Setting up of avenues for ensuring entrepurenship opportunities for youth of the the displaced community
8 LG administrations should ensure amicable solution of Kashmir based PM package/Non PM Package/Reserved category employees
The District General Secretary Moti lal Bhat presented the reporting of Organizational activities of KDD since reconstitution of the District team, before the delegates and had great appreciations for all the Mandal & booth level Karkartas who dedicatedly ensured the implementation of party programmes successfully. This was followed by the reporting by Durga Mandal President Sh.B.L.Raina, Pt.Prem Nath Bhat Mandal President Sh.K.K.Koul, Tika lal Taploo Mandal President Sh.Paray Lal Pandita, Kheerbhwani Mandal President Sh.Asok Raina, Amar Nath Vaishnavi Mandal Hira Lal Bhat, Mahila Morcha President Ms Dolly Raina and Yuva Morcha President Sh.Rohit Ganjoo. Sh.Rajeev Pandita (vice President) gave the briefing about the Voter enrollment & election preparance.
The chief guest sh Rajender Sharma mayor Jammu municipal corporation while addressing the delegates spoke about the good governance , self-discipline and fight against corruption and dynasty politics .He exhorted the karykartas to join the campaign against the corrupt and the dynasts so that the system of good governance is established in Jammu and Kashmir
While concluding the session sh Ajay Bharti former MLC in charge Kashmir displaced district urged the karykartas to cultivate a mindset of responsible worker and let the displaced community know that it was always the BJP and its vacharik saghthan that were always in support of displaced community right from days of early migration and stood behind the community as solid rock at the time of adverse times .It was pandit Nehru who in 1947 told Kashmiri pandits at sheetalnath either to join national conference or leave Kashmir thereby Congress party has laid the foundation of pandit exodus from Kashmir valley .
Former MLC further added that the community should be cautious about the manipulations of hypocrite political parties and ensure their voter enrolment and come out on the day of voting in huge numbers to establish their political identity and strengthen the hands of prime minister sh Narender Modi ji .
