Sheikh Bashir, President, BJP Minority Wing, condemned Traffic Department, alleging harassment to common people on Monday.
Talking to the news media, Sheikh Bashir said, “Whenever people have to go by road from Srinagar to Jammu or Jammu to Srinagar, the traffic police start fining the drivers and harrassing to people.”
He said that as a result of the harrasment, now adding that said “if things are going to be like this, we will take up the issue higher ups.”
“I had talked to concerned traffic authority regarding this but there has been no solution to redressal to there grievances,” the Sheikh Bashir, President BJP, Minority Wing, J&K said and appealed the Lieutenant Governor Administration and Director General of Police, J&K to take action against traffic official who has involved in this action.
