Sumbal, May 3:
Bandipora Joinery Association on Friday afternoon held elections elected new office bearers at Dak Banglow Sumbal Sonawari area in Bandipora district.
One hundred unit holders participated in the elections wherein Jameel Ahmad Dar elected as president and Bashir Ahmad Sheikh as vice president.
Jameel Ahmad Dar from Sumbal secured 42 votes, while Bashir Ahmed Sheikh from Shahgund received 39 votes, Ishafaq Ahmad and Asif Parray garnered 4 and 2 votes, respectively.
Bandipora Joinery Association members congratulated Jameel Ahmad Dar on his election as president and expressed their hope for the association’s betterment under his leadership.
While speaking to media Jameel Ahmad Dar said that he is thankful to all the members who voted for him and that he will work for their welfare.
