Administration would make arrangements to accommodate 6000 pilgrims at Pantha Chowk in Srinagar during the Amarnath Yatra.
In a meeting held here wherein DDC Srinagar Mohammad Aijaz Asad said that more pilgrims are likely to come this year as the Amarnath Yatra was postponed till last years due to Corona pandemic.
District Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar held a meeting with officials of various departments regarding the preparations for Baba Amarnath Yatra. During this, he discussed the preparations for the Amarnath Yatra with the police and other departments. He asked the officials to expedite the arrangements and set up a temporary camp at Pantha Chowk.
