Srinagar, January 23:
The Indian Army carried out timely medical evacuations in the Vilgam area of Kupwara district amid heavy snowfall.
Two critically ill patients from the Vilgam were safely evacuated to the GMC Handwara by the Army’s Vilgam Battalion.
This included a 20-year-old pregnant woman and a 58-year-old woman suffering from an ischemic stroke.
The local residents are appreciating the efforts and humanitarian service of the Indian Army.
