The domicile law which is enhanced and applied by an order from ministry of home affairs is to some extent not satisfactory and does not fulfil the aspirations of the people of J&K which was expected.
Er. Rishi Kaul Kilam National Joint Secretary and Spokesperson Youth wing of NCP said that in the best interests of the people of union territory of J&K the domicile law applied needs amendment and review.
It is ironic that the Kashmiri Migrants who are permanent citizens of J&K union territory by birth since centuries together have been figured in this law,so sorrowful. Rishi kilam said earlier the centre government from time to time assured the people of J&K that the domicile law will come up with best expectations of the people but it has created doubts in our minds again when we feel our jobs are not secured when the outsiders have now been given open opportunities and invitations after completing 15 years . Er. Rishi Kilam added that the people of J&K compromised with the abrogation of artical 370 and 35A as it had no relevance and meaning now because these acts were out of fashion and it was meaningful and required for our traditional leaders who used it for vote bank policy and Antinational activities to provoke the innocent kashmiris. Infact these articals had only become the safe tools in the hands of our corrupt politicians for their safe gaurd thus fooling the innocent kashmiris.
We the people of J&K want protection of land and jobs,Development, peace and respect to all faiths and belief.
Common people had absolutely nothing to do with these articals. However ,Rishi added that whole nation is under the threat of pandemics and fighting this menace but our administration is in a hurry to implement domicile law by hook or by crook. Er. Rishi asked the administration that there are large number of employees both working in contractual or casual basis or on leave basis in universities or in other departments though not completed 15 years as domicile they may not be treated as domicile and should be given a fresh thought on certain relevant issues.
