Srinagar, July 23:
A day after policeman Ashiq Hussain Qureshi was killed in a terror attack in Anantnag district. The administration and security forces demolished the houses of two terrorists. Official sources told that the new house of Adil Ahmad Thokar, a resident of Guri in Anantnag. A terrorist associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), was completely demolished on Thursday.
In another operation on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, a one-storey residential house belonging to Haroon Rashid Ganai was also demolished. Haroon has been an active terrorist associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba since 2018.
The action was carried out jointly by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, a Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and the 90th battalion of the CRPF. Jammu and Kashmir Police jawan Ashiq Hussain Qureshi was martyred in the terror attack on Wednesday. After this, the security forces took this action.
