Jammu, March 25:
After four terrorists were seen in Sanyal village in Hira Nagar, strict vigil has been put in place in the border areas of Samba district. Police and BSF jawans have been asked to remain alert by setting up check posts on the bridges built on the rivers flowing towards Pakistan. On Monday, the police and security forces kept searching the rivers and streams throughout the day. Every person coming and going was allowed to go ahead only after thorough checking. According to information received from defense sources, Pakistani soldiers always keep an eye on the Indo-Pak border of Samba district.
This is the reason that many attempts have been made to infiltrate from the Samba border. The Bai Nala flowing towards Pakistan adjoins Samba and Hiranagar. Sources say that there is a possibility of infiltration from this Nala. In the area where the suspects have been seen, two terrorists were killed in the same village in 1993.
On the other side is Pakistan’s Sukmal post. A launching pad has been made for terrorists there. They are made to sit at this place. After recce, they are made to infiltrate into the Indian border.
