Srinagar, January 23:
With an aim to motivate youth and strengthen the connect with them organized a ‘Youth mela’. The event was org under the supervision of Muneer Ah Sheikh of PWAJK NGO*. A total of 13 speakers expressed the view point of youth on following topics:- Drugs, Unemployment, Sports, Local Area Development and Corruption.
The activities conducted during the event were Speech by various speakers expressing their views on the above topics. Stalls : (i) 04x stalls by *Employment Exch Baramulla* – for guiding youth on various schemes run by Govt to provide employment to youth.
(ii) *Spotlight Placement Agency*-for registration of youth seeking jobs in Pvt sector
(iii) *SBI Bank* – for guiding youth on types of loans available to start your own start-up.
Felicitation of all the Speakers: A total of *A total of around 120 youth* attended the event. Special guests of the event were *Principal GDC sopore, SDPO sopore.* The event provided the platform for the Indian Army to connect with the youth and motivate them for a bright future and also contribute towards society.The event was also a platform for the youth to express their views on the matters which are a matter of concern for the society and which have major effect on youth.
