A shocking incident has come to light in Vrindavan Sunrakh village. A young man who was suffering from stomach pain for a long time operated on himself. The young man’s condition remains critical, he has been admitted to the district hospital on Wednesday.
Nephew Rahul Thakur said that his uncle Raja Babu (32) son of Kanhaiya Thakur, a resident of Sunrakh, was suffering from stomach pain for several days. He had been treated by doctors several times, but did not get any relief. He had undergone an appendix operation 18 years ago, after which he had been complaining of stomach pain repeatedly. Tired of the constant pain, he decided to perform his own operation.
Raja Babu brought an injection like the doctors and numbed himself and then ripped open his stomach with a surgical blade. Initially he did not feel any pain, but as soon as the effect of the medicine wore off, he started writhing in pain and screaming loudly. Hearing the young man’s screams, his family rushed and immediately took him to the district hospital. Doctors have admitted him in a critical condition and his treatment is underway. Doctors say that taking such a step without proper information could have been fatal. Raja Babu’s condition is stable at the moment. (Agencies)
