During the anti-Pakistan protest at Bharat Mata Chowk in Jammu, the controversy deepened when a girl student in school uniform removed the Pakistani flag pasted on the road by the protesters. Local people gathered there and started stopping the student from doing so.
The student did not listen to the people. She started removing the Pakistani flag from the road. During the argument with the people, the student said that this is an Islamic flag. Seeing the anger of the people, police personnel reached the square and asked the student to leave from there.
The news of the student removing the Pakistani flag from the road spread like wildfire in the entire city.
Rashtriya Bajrang Dal chief Rakesh Bajrangi called it an anti-national act. He demanded an investigation into the activities of the girl and her family. He said that when the country is fighting a decisive battle against terrorism. Someone removing the Pakistani flag and then leaving the place raises suspicion, said.
He said that there should be an immediate investigation in this case. If there is any indication of espionage or anti-national activities, strict action should be taken. He demanded immediate intervention from the police.
He raised the question that when the educational institutions were closed, how and why did the girl reach there in school uniform? Demanding a fair investigation into the whole matter, he said that such acts can pose a threat to national security.
