National Conference Vice President and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Tuesday that nothing is impossible in politics. Article 370 will also be restored one day. It is not God’s decree that it cannot be restored again after removal.
Talking to reporters after the Budgam election rally, Omar Abdullah reacted to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement regarding Article 370. Home Minister Amit Shah had said on Monday in Kishtwar district of Jammu province that Article 370 has been abolished forever. Now no power can restore it.
Nothing is impossible in politics: Omar Abdullah
Omar Abdullah said that nothing is impossible in politics. A bench of four judges in the Supreme Court has given its verdict on the removal of Article 370. Who knows, tomorrow, a bench of seven judges of the Supreme Court may give a verdict to restore Article 370.
The judges in the Supreme Court who have upheld the abrogation of Article 370 are human beings like us. Therefore, this decision is not a decree of God which cannot be changed.
