3 Days First Aid Training for Red Cross Volunteers Concluded at Handwara

Handwara, December 24:
In order to educate Red Cross volunteers with regard to their contribution for the welfare of the society, a three Days first aid training programme from 22th December to 25th December 2022 Concluded today at TRC Handwara.
The first aid training programme was organized by District Red Cross Society Kupwara in Collaboration with Tourism Department Kashmir.
On the Validation of the tranning programme ADC Handwara, TC 21RR were present along large number of volunteers across the district.
On the occasion, a trainer imtiyaz Ah interacted with the volunteers and emphasized their role in contributing towards the welfare of people in all emergencies.
He briefed the participants about various ways of contributing towards the wellbeing of the society especially in the medical emergencies for which he educated the participants with regard to providing first aid to the injured persons.
He stressed upon the participants to make themselves mentally prepared to help human beings in difficult times and expressed his best wishes for their noble mission.
On the occasion, ADC Handwara Nazir Ahmad appraised the participants about the functioning and role of the Red Cross Society in the district.
While highlighting the role of Indian Red Cross Society J&K, he said that the organization has been actively involved in organizing first aid trainings across the Union Territory and the organization’s endeavor is to approach to the institutions at the grass roots level with a comprehensive and holistic programme of first hand trainings towards disaster risk reduction and management.
